The time has come to close My Old Ties.

After almost 8 years of efforts to give old and forlorn ties a second lease on life, My Old Ties must come to an end. Between Covid and a need to Work from Home, ties have faded away.

We've enjoyed repurposing and giving so many ties a second life. It's been fun. Fun to see the variety of ties each donor had. Fun to see were they might go. My Old Ties has been entertaining to say the very least.

I would encourage you to seek out local outlets for those sentimental ties. One avenue that we found rewarding was fist time job applicants. Whether they were from High School or even ex prisoners, both groups needed an interview tie. It raised their esteem and made them look and feel that much more capable.

I want to thank all the donors over the years. Its only been with your involvement that My Old Ties has been in existence.
